In a thick fog I see a moving light,
Warm and comforting.
The smell of earth puts me down to sleep;
I swim in atrophy.

I think I lost the last battle;
Though I don't know what thought is anymore.

Remember the wind singing through a stone tower,
through bare chambers- it’s history now.
The wind’s singing through the stone tower- it’s history now.

He brought strange instruments from far off lands;
Their sounds changed their meaning
underneath these Northern skies.
And our lives became history -it's just nature now.
Just nature now. And all is history now.
