lyrics

METTA

Smoke is gathering over the moors;
Drying land, withering hills;
Where I have been all these years.

Should I want to be your songbird forever?
Squeeze the pressure out
Till the breathing stops.

If this is love, then what is it for?
I see the Sun right above your eyes,
And it’s paper thin.

If this is fire, then what is it for?
Sucks me in. Let it go free.
Stretch your time to refill.

Echo from London is calling back home.
Step aside to keep an air flow;
I need to see what’s behind the screen.

Try to dodge a kiss from the mouth of a void.
Hand in a dagger into the hand that offered a cure.

I am only a fragment of your secret worlds.
Just an illusion.
Rain will come and wash all this mess
Just so we can dance, so we can dance.
