Been plowing through the ground
Trying to sow a seed of a flower;
The ground is fertile but full of weeds.

Tearing through the roots; killing all the weeds;
All the worms and creatures that lived underneath
Scattering around, running for their lives.

The skies were murky;
Promise of rain to dilute the ground seized with pain
That I could never see or feel;
That I would never see or feel.

Just a part of a force of nature
Bringing calamities and destruction
Just like any other live thing;
Just like any other live thing.

Life feeds on death - a natural thing.
Good feeds on Evil.
God feeds on Evil.
